The Entrepreneurship trap!
Cias Ferreira
I serve leaders in creating customer-focused companies that increases employee engagement and customer inspiration. I serve professionals in their path to mastery to excel in their own unique style of artistry.
The struggles of being an entrepreneur are real and are felt tangibly by the entrepreneur. These struggles can become irritations. These irritations are normally aimed at the market, economy, customers, self and even government. This leads to the blame game. I blame you for my downfall. I blame you for my lack of cash flow. It is a trap, which leads to a deep dark hole. A trap that should be avoided by all means necessary.
There are consequences of falling into the trap. You become impatient with customers, you stop innovating because you say, “What is the use in this economy”. Your quality goes down and finally you close the business. A business that is much needed in the economy. A business that is part of the roots of building a healthy and sustainable economy in the specific country.
Jump over the trap by doing the following:
1. Write down 3 things, daily, you appreciate about your current customers
2. Spend 1 hour a week to design your business. Don’t stop when you have the business plan. Adjust it as you move forward. It should be a working document.
3. Do physical exercise during the week. This really helps me to clear my mind and welcome some new thoughts.
4. Take a breather and reflect on what you have already learned and accomplished.
Don’t loose hope! Your country needs your contribution!
