Is Entrepreneurship Causing You to Feel Like an *Imposter*?

There is a trap that too many entrepreneurs can get stuck in when starting or growing a business. As you know, owning a business requires so much more than a person's technical specialty (i.e., doctor, therapist, carpenter, coach). Often, a person can spend so much time working to be the *best* technician in her field and not nearly enough time “building her business” as an entrepreneur.

All of these foreign in roles (like being the *only* sales, marketing, networker, visionary for her business) are new to a technician highly trainer in another field. Despite her strong desire to make an impact, she’s can’t seem to get ahead in her business. Having to play all of these foreign solo acts can be the *perfect* breeding ground for Impostor Syndrome, Perfectionism, and "Distractionism" to overtake her mindset and cause a MAJOR halt in her business progress.

This can cause self-doubt, second-guessing and confusion = inner suffering, "Why can't I seem to make myself do what I know I want to do and what I've trained my whole life to do?"

Learning to be an entrepreneur (for most) is a very foreign skill, and without it, a business also suffers and sadly can quickly die. This whole scenario is one I know personally with my entrepreneurial journey from struggling to thriving as well as one I see every day with my clients. It is heartbreaking.

So I've committed myself and my work to support women of color entrepreneurs thrive. The work is amazing and so meaningful.

I have no assumptions that you are trapped by this quicksand; I do want you to know that I'm here for you and your business if you do (or ever do) feel like this kind of support would benefit you and your business thrive.

Do you find yourself ever struggling with the entrepreneurial side of your business? I know I did for what felt like a long time. The learning curve can be steep. Let me know how you’re doing - leave a message below or DM me.

I'm always here for you. Love to you and your business!
