Entrepreneurial Insights Shared by Rizka Wahyu Romadhona, Owner of PT Agrinesia Raya, at HIPA ITS Business Dialogue

Jakarta, November 9, 2023 - As part of efforts to support the dynamic development of the entrepreneurial community, Founder and Owner of PT Agrinesia Raya, Rizka Wahyu Romadhona, participated in the Business Discussion event organized by the Association of Alumni Entrepreneurs (HIPA) ITS. Under the theme 'Organic Business Growth,' Rizka shared a journey and inspirational experiences in building organic business growth, providing insights and practical knowledge to motivate fellow entrepreneurs.

In her address, Rizka Wahyu Romadhona, Founder and Owner of PT Agrinesia Raya, an alumna of the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS), expressed her pleasure at the opportunity to meet and gather with fellow alumni entrepreneurs from ITS. She hoped that the event would further strengthen the bonds among entrepreneurs sharing the same alma mater, ITS.

Furthermore, at this event, Rizka recounted the beginnings of PT Agrinesia Raya, founded in 2011 by herself and her husband, Anggara Kasih Nugroho Jati. It all started with a simple idea of using local ingredients to create distinctive culinary products.

"During that time, our first product was born, Lapis Bogor Sangkuriang. Made from talas, a typical local ingredient of Bogor, it caught the attention of many tourists and locals who became interested in our initial product. As Lapis Bogor Sangkuriang, made from talas, was a new and distinctive product, it started gaining recognition and sales began to rise."

Rizka mentioned that from simple ingredients such as taro, PT Agrinesia Raya expanded and grew even better. This commitment led Agrinesia to further preserve traditional cuisines through the use of local ingredients.

"This commitment is coupled with our view that innovation, quality, as well as the cultural and unique values presented by Agrinesia are the key factors that have enabled us to withstand the business competition from other souvenir companies out there. This commitment and principle gave birth to other Agrinesia brands in various cities," explained Rizka.

Currently, PT Agrinesia Raya has seven brands, including Lapis Bogor Sangkuriang, Lapis Kukus Pahlawan, Bolu Susu Lembang, Bakpia Kukus Tugu Jogja, Bolu Malang Singosari, Bolu Stim Menara, and Bolu Kukus Nusa Rasa.

The event, attended by ITS alumni, including young entrepreneurs and experienced businesspersons, served as a valuable platform for interaction. Apart from sharing tips and challenges faced during their business journey, as well as experiences that could inspire fellow members of the Association of Alumni Entrepreneurs (HIPA) ITS, Rizka also stated that PT Agrinesia Raya is open to collaborative potential that can create added value for all involved parties.

"The spirit of collaboration continues to be instilled in Agrinesia. Even at the end of last October, Agrinesia established collaborations with universities, such as IPB University, and local governments, including the Bogor City Government and Sleman Regency Government, to empower micro, small, and medium-sized industries. We are very open to potential collaboration and partnership with our peers."
