 The ideal Business Development Consultant 

Has at least 3 years’ experience in a business to business sales environment

Loves the thrill of sourcing intelligent leads, talking to the owners/CEO’s and establishing what their need is and then being able to advise how we can help them improve in that area (or to walk away if we can’t)

The focus of the role is on new business development – your natural preference must be to bring in the business and when the client is secured hand over the client management to someone else

Is not intimidated by targets and jumps over them like an Olympic Showjumper

Has great communication skills (written, telephonic and in person) and impeccable command of the English language

Has amazing interpersonal skills and can communicate with the owner of a start-up, CEO of a large corporation and the owner/manager of a small company

Valid drivers license and own car

You are not intimidated by rejection

High level of integrity and a desire to add value by suggesting our services – we do not sell just to reach numbers

Although you are a hunter you must still have great attention to detail and the ability to do basic administrative tasks and planning

Must be willing to work in the office as well as on the road (we are a close team who work as a unit and do not want a new addition to miss out on that) 

Our office is based in Tygervalley Cape Town – You must either live in area or be prepared to move within 30 minutes drive of the area (unfortunately we are not able to cover relocation costs)

An addition to the team must always increase the awesome factor!!

We are extremely transparent in how we manage and what we are and are not achieving, there is no sense of hierarchy – we all work together (from director level down to reception level) and we believe that you win as a team and you loose as a team

We do work hard, but the expectations are fair and achievable – work smarter not harder
