Entrepreneurial Checkpoint #8

This past sprint has been nothing but successful for YooperGames LLC! We have accomplished so much in a short amount of time, from receiving new business cards to trying to set up one of our first wholesale deals.

Over the past few weeks, my partner Wylie Mease dedicated time to designing a new, professional business card, which we have now received and can distribute to potential buyers. We have already seen great success with the cards, as they have generated emails and increased website traffic from customers.

On top of that, Ethan Jankowski has spent countless hours reprogramming our website. Everything is now up to date with new pictures, and our custom checkout system allows customers to manually enter their preferred colorways for the Rival sets we offer.

As for my own contributions, I consider them a great success. Not only did I become HubSpot certified in Digital Marketing, but I also completed a company financial spreadsheet, updated previous brochures, and worked on our biggest project yet—securing a consignment deal with a local Downtown Naperville shop.

The financial spreadsheet I created aims to improve cash flow management, ensuring accurate numbers for both our team and our founders— Sam Lendzion , Tyler Ewoldt , Josh Burner , and Brady Bechtel .

Our most exciting business venture right now is executing a consignment deal with Treasures Toy Shop. When we visited the store to speak with the owner, he offered us this incredible opportunity. We are all thrilled to launch into our first retail partnership and begin preparing for mass orders.

Lastly, I want to give a huge thanks to Brad Neubauer for his extensive help in supporting our team throughout the year and contributing to our growth. I also want to thank Ryan Boswell for our recent meeting, where we discussed the future steps of our business and the actions we need to take. Additionally, we gained valuable customer service skills from him and revamped the emails and messages we use to reach out to businesses.

I can't wait to see what the team and I accomplish before the year is over!
