I am leaving the business. The end of my entrepreneurship journey with my venture

For the ones who have been following this newsletter from day 1 to now, thank you. A lot happened in a couple of weeks and I wanted to share some updates.?

While we’ve just received ￡150k Zinc VC funding for our venture which I shared with you all here, I have made the difficult decision to step down and leave the business. The decision wasn’t made lightly, but I still believe in the company’s potential and its bright solid future ahead.

I want to express my gratitude to the partners, patients, mentors, angel investors, cohort members & friends, fellows and coaches, my LinkedIn community for the dedication, time, expertise, support and trust. There are too many to tag! Thank you Ella Goldner (Levy) and Paul Kirby for backing me as a Founder and allowing me to go through this venture builder, an unique experience and growth opportunity as well as testing the early days of the Accelerate program.

Lastly, thank you to my friend who went through breast cancer and joined me on this journey and the day to day of this adventure by offering regular support, testing our MVP and sharing her experience through the lens of a patient. It’s deeply personal to me but her support in this transition has been substantial. Difficult decision but the right for me and I am at peace with it. The learnings and the growth from this experience is impactful

What is next for me and how can you help?

Firstly, I will take some time to re-energise, reflect and recover. Then, I have a mortgage to pay so that will influence my next couple of weeks. My venture included generative ai and technology and I’d love to keep working in this field.?

I do not give up on the ambition to create innovative solutions and build an ambitious business. Every failure is a learning feeding into the next success.
