As an entrepreneur what's your model of Business

Just a few weeks ago the world’s largest cab company hit the waves on all social media platforms in Uganda of their presence and got me thinking of the mode of operation for such companies in the sense of entrepreneurship. Uber does not own any cars but is considered to be the largest cab company, Airbnb offers more rooms worldwide than the biggest hotel chains and yet owns no property Meanwhile, Amazon one of the most valuable retailer in the world carries no stock. You could argue that Facebook is the largest media company too,though it does not create any content. Do you see a pattern here?
