Entrepreneur Happy Hour - Powered by DLA Piper

On August 21st, we gathered our community for our first (of hopefully many!) Entrepreneur Happy Hour. After months and months of dreaming this up with Charles Torres from DLA Piper 's New York office, we got the opportunity to work together to make this happen with DLA's local office, including Nikos Buxeda and Miriam de L. Figueroa .

We truly value Charles Torres , Nikos Buxeda and Miriam de L. Figueroa 's support, partnership and commitment to forging new connections with local entrepreneurs. One of our goals is to continue creating experiences like this. This get-together was a just a little taste of the Endeavor Magic!?

ENDEAVOR PUERTO RICO @ BEFEST 2024

A huge congratulations to Colmena66 for #BEFest2024! Puerto Rico’s entrepreneurial ecosystem is more than active, and it’s important to create opportunities such as having this year’s event down south in Ponce!?

From Coffee Break chats, to Main Hall and Break Out Room sessions, to an expo of local companies and support organizations, it was inspiring to see everyone congregate to continue driving our island forward. ???

Some of the highlights for us were supporting our Endeavor Entrepreneur Ariel Qui?ones from Ironhack , and Sebastian Vidal from Raincoat in a panel about the integration of AI in businesses. We were also thrilled to see Nichole Columna from Piezas Rush (who recently completed our RAISE Scale-Up) in an insightful panel about metrics. It was great seeing you all there!

REGIONAL NEWS: $1 BILLION IN CAPITAL FOR LATIN AMERICAN FOUNDERS

In a groundbreaking move from the White House $1 billion has been earmarked to fuel the dreams of Latin American entrepreneurs across the Western Hemisphere, with the launch of the Americas Partnership Investor Network. This massive injection of capital is set to shake up the start-up scene, promising to spark innovation and drive economic growth.

The Uruguayan Foreign Minister, Omar Paganini, alongside U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, and USAID Administrator, Samantha Power, with the support of Endeavor Miami (huge congrats to Claudia Duran and the team!) alongside IDB Lab, plan to direct this investment as part of a broader trend of increasing entrepreneurial funding to innovative founders across the region.?

Latino-owned businesses currently contribute $800 billion annually to the American economy and with this new investment, their economic impact is likely to increase significantly.?
