Entrepreneur? Get Out of The Damn House.

Are you a productive person?

I bet you get a lot of stuff done.

AND..... I bet there's one or two projects (book, keynote, curriculum, LinkedIn post) you consistently put off because:

--It feels overwhelming and there's not an actual deadline

--Working ON IT (and not ending or finishing) has become part of your identity

--You're distracted by Sex and City reels on Instagram

--You think you need at least 90 minutes to do anything real

--No one's watching you eat a pint of Pistachio Talenti instead of writing another chapter.

--Your dogs need you!!

--You're afraid to fail

--You suddenly feel the need to clean the crevice between your faucet and the lip of your sink with a toothpick

and....its NOT another monthly Zoom meeting.

It's a Co-working Space called @The Process. But even if you don't live in Denver, you can learn something, so read on....

But that "co-working" word is such an undersell.

Because here's how time at The Process works....

--You write a goal on a chalkboard before you begin

--You do deep work in 45-minute Sprints or 90-minute Intensives

--There's a brief discussion after each. The founder asks insightful questions. You learn something.

The Process is not just a mere co-working space. It's a mindset shift.

It holds me accountable, and offers discipline that I can't quite accomplish on my own.

Other Stuff I Love

--It is not a 'scene' with peeps "hanging out" shooting Instagram reels.

--There are little phone hotels. (Yes, to separate you from your phone)

--Hot washcloths are on hand. (No egg drop soup.)

--Zoom meetings are not allowed (okay I actually hate this, but its good for me)

--Very affordable. (Way cheaper than a life coach or brunch or the lipliner you've been eyeing at Sephora)

--Business Cards are RARELY mentioned. (audible exhale here)

But there's one more thing. It might be the VERY BEST part.

THE MUSIC

Classical or instrumental music drifts through the space during the deep work, and then......

....when its over,

you'll get ten minutes of stuff like Bon Jovi, Run DMC and Brittney Spears just for a little joy.

And one last thing, because I know what you're thinking....the Process works for lots of different kinds of people.

*****Extrovert before COVID, but can't remember where you put your mojo? Perfect. You'll get limited time with humans and leave conversations wanting more.

*****Introvert who would rather stick a pencil in your eye than mingle? Perfect. Deep work is protected. Conversation space is limited. When forced to socialize, structure and insight are part of the deal.

The founder and mind behind this methodical madness? Paul Shirley , ex-NBA player, author, speaker and a very intentional guy......

....who also sets up all sorts of rituals, prizes, milestones and other ways to motivate you toward your version of success.

Especially in this post-COVID anti-social era where our resiliency is still a little down (I can't find a parking spot, I'll just go home), we've let ourselves go like an apathetic high school senior (I guess its yoga pants and no makeup again today!)

The Process is a very good thing....Jus sayin'.

Be brave enough to get out of the house, and see what happens.....
