Accenture Invests in Martian to Enable Dynamic LL Routing
Accenture, via Accenture Ventures, has invested in Martian, a technology company with a patent-pending large language model (LLM) router. As part of this investment, Accenture plans to integrate Martian's advanced model router offering into its proprietary "switchboard" services, which allow users to customize large-language models for specific data sources and use cases. Martian will also join Accenture Ventures' Project Spotlight, an engagement and investment program that focuses on companies that create or apply disruptive enterprise technologies.
Adobe Introduces Several Updates to Adobe Experience Cloud
Adobe has announced several innovations for its Adobe Experience Cloud solution to help brands demonstrate the business impact of AI-generated marketing content. For example, the new additions to Experience Cloud include Adobe Content Analytics, an AI assistant content accelerator for Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Edge Delivery Services, which introduce self-learning experimentation functionalities. These features will enable businesses to personalize AI-generated content across channels, match content with customer preferences, and adjust campaigns in real-time.
Black Kite Introduces a New Risk Collaboration Solution
Black Kite, a third-party cyber risk intelligence company, has introduced Black Kite Bridge, a new solution designed to enable customer and vendor collaborations for real-time risk mitigation and remediation throughout the supply chain. With Black Kite Bridge, companies can share real-time insights about an incident directly with their vendors, take actions to remediate, and ultimately close out the risk, all from a single platform. The solution also comes equipped with automation capabilities to eliminate busy work and automatically inform, share, and track progress.
Domino Data Highlights Gap Between Responsible AI Commitment and Governance
Domino Data Lab, an Enterprise AI Platform provider, has released the findings of its 2024 REVelate survey report. The survey included responses from 117 AI leaders, and the findings reveal that 97 percent of organizations have already set goals for responsible AI. However, nearly half of respondents (48 percent) are under-resourced to implement the governance frameworks necessary for responsible AI.
Gartner Releases its 2024 Magic Quadrant for Sales Force Automation Platforms
Analyst house Gartner, Inc. recently released the 2024 edition of its Gartner Magic Quadrant for Sales Force Automation Platforms (SFAs), identifying thirteen of the marketplace's most effective SFA providers. The researchers behind the report evaluated each listed vendor's strengths and weaknesses and ranked them on the signature "Magic Quadrant" graph, and the editors at Solutions Review highlighted the updates worth knowing about.
HCLSoftware Acquires Metadata Management Vendor Zeenea
HCLSoftware, the software business division of HCLTech, has completed its acquisition of Zeenea, a data catalog and governance solution provider. The acquisition will help Actian, a division of HCLSoftware, to offer a unified data intelligence and governance solution that helps customers discover, govern, and maximize the value of their various data assets. It will also help Actian extend its presence, workforce, and growing customer base in European markets.
Hitachi Vantara Announces Next Generation of EverFlex IaaS
Hitachi Vantara—a data storage, infrastructure, and hybrid cloud management subsidiary of Hitachi—has announced the next generation of its Hitachi EverFlex infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) portfolio. The key capabilities of Hitachi EverFlex include a comprehensive Service Catalog with modular options, a software-as-a-service (SaaS) portal that enables users to scale their IT resources and infrastructures efficiently, and a collection of professional services, blueprints, orchestration workflows, project resources, and management, which are available with TCO Consulting Services.
HubSpot Announces the New Features Available in its Fall 2024 Spotlight
HubSpot has released a collection of new features and updates as part of its Fall 2024 Spotlight, announced at the INBOUND 2024. One of the new releases announced is Breeze, HubSpot's embedded AI. HubSpot Breeze includes the following features: Copilot, an AI-powered companion; four AI agents for social media, prospecting, content, and customer service use cases; and approximately eighty additional features. Other announcements include the launch of Breeze Intelligence, a data enrichment and buyer intent solution, and several updates for HubSpot's Marketing and Content Hub solutions.

IDC Says AI to Drive 3.5 Percent of Global GDP in 5 Years
IDC recently released new research, entitled The Global Impact of Artificial Intelligence on the Economy and Jobs, that predicts that businesses spending to adopt AI will have a cumulative global economic impact of $19.9 trillion through 2030 and drive 3.5 percent of global GDP in 2030. Veeam Software Acquires Alcion

As part of that acquisition, Niraj Tolia—one of the co-founders of Alcion—will join Veeam Software as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). In this role, Tolia will be responsible for leading Veeam's product strategy and engineering efforts for Veeam's data resilience solutions. Additionally, Tolia will work with Veeam's Chief Product Officer (CPO) to ensure customers benefit from Veeam's data resilience offerings. Alcion's team will also be joining Veeam immediately.
