Clearlake will join existing investors TA Associates, Insight Partners, and Charlesbank Capital Partners as shareholders in Aptean's company. TVN Reddy, CEO of Aptean, says, "Clearlake's investment underscores their confidence in our strategy and commitment to expansion. Partnering with Clearlake, alongside our existing investors, will enable us to continue delivering differentiated solutions to the market and accelerate our growth."
Arize AI Drops New AI Copilot
Arize AI, a pioneer in AI observability and LLM evaluation, has debuted several new capabilities to help AI developers evaluate and debug their LLM systems. These updates make Arize a powerhouse for experimentation and production observability. For example, AI engineers can use Arize to edit prompt templates, swap out the LLMs they're using, and see if performance across a test dataset will decrease or change.
AWS Adds New Visual User Experience to Glue ETL
Amazon Web Services (AWS) has announced a new capability for the AWS Glue Studio Editor, which offers a new visual user experience. Within this interface, you can visually inspect tabular data samples, validate recipe steps through real-time runs, and author data preparation recipes without writing code. Within the new experience, you can choose from hundreds of prebuilt transformations.
Cloudera Releases New Observability Tools
With the increasing demand for strategic insights from technologies like GenAI and the rise of data privacy and security regulations, there is a growing need for complete visibility into enterprise data sources and workflows. Cloudera's expanded Cloudera Observability suite empowers enterprises with highly secure networks to operate observability entirely within their data centers or on the public cloud.
CodiumAI Releases New GenAI Enterprise Coding Platform
CodiumAI, a generative code integrity platform, has launched an enterprise platform designed to help development teams improve their coding with generative AI. The new platform uses organization-specific code suggestions, tests, and reviews to make it easier for teams to adopt AI-generated code. Cognizant Launches a New Platform for its Neuro Suite
Cognizant has announced Cognizant Neuro Edge, a new platform available in Cognizant's Neuro suite designed to help businesses across industries utilize artificial intelligence and generative AI "at the edge." The latest offering expands Cognizant's Neuro AI capabilities by offering an industry-agnostic, Cloud + Edge AI platform capable of accelerating company decision-making, facilitating real-time interactions with devices, reducing data costs, maintaining operational stability, and addressing privacy risks.
Databricks Acquires Prodvana
Databricks, a data and AI solution provider, has acquired Prodvana, a company with extensive experience building scalable and secure infrastructures. Prodvana has developed innovative methods to simplify deployment complexities in cloud-native environments through their managed delivery, infrastructure insights, and self-healing capabilities. With this acquisition, Databricks will use Prodvana's expertise to help it deliver all infrastructure improvements so it can deploy faster without sacrificing security, ultimately benefiting customers.
Deloitte Launches New AI & Data Accelerator Program with AWS
Deloitte has announced a multi-year strategic collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS). As part of the collaboration, the companies will develop an Innovation Lab that helps global organizations scale their generative AI, data, analytics, and quantum computing capabilities by using AWS services. Additionally, the companies will make funding available to support customers as they take successful proofs of concept (POCs) into production. The effort is aligned with Deloitte's IndustryAdvantage initiative, a strategic $2 billion investment to co-innovate with eligible clients and alliances to develop industry-focused solutions.
HCLTech and IBM Collaborate on the Development of a Generative AI Center of Excellence
HCLTech, a global technology company, has announced a new collaboration with IBM to develop a Generative AI Center of Excellence (CoE) based on IBM's watsonx AI and data platform. The CoE—available via HCLTech's AI and Cloud Native Labs in London and Austin, Texas—will help global enterprises create custom AI applications, accelerate responsible AI workflows, develop IT service management (ITSM) use cases, modernize legacy applications, improve skill development on the watsonx platform, expand their data capabilities, and enable continuous innovation.

Hitachi Vantara Uncovers Source(s) of GenAI Struggles
Hitachi Vantara—the data storage, infrastructure, and hybrid cloud management subsidiary of Hitachi—has released findings from a co-sponsored research report from Enterprise Strategy Group (ESG). The report, which surveyed 800 IT and business leaders across the United States, Canada, and Western Europe, explores the critical role of data infrastructure for enterprise GenAI and the associated decisions underpinning successful implementation. It finds that 97% of organizations with GenAI in flight view it as a top-five priority, with U.S. companies 35% more likely to say it was the top priority compared to European respondents.
Oracle Announces the General Availability of Exadata Exascale
Oracle has announced the general availability of Exadata Exascale, an intelligent data architecture for the cloud capable of providing better performance for all Oracle Database workloads at any scale. With Exadata Exascale, companies can reduce infrastructure costs, accelerate innovation for data workloads, and maximize their AI, analytics, and mission-critical workloads at any scale. Exadata Exascale is available now with the Exadata Database Service on Exascale Infrastructure and Oracle Database 23ai on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). It will also be available in Exadata CloudCustomer, OCI Dedicated Region, and multi-cloud environments.
QuSecure Collaborates with NVIDIA's cuPQC Initiative
QuSecure, Inc., a leader in post-quantum cryptography (PQC), this week announced it has joined NVIDIA and a select group of technology leaders in supporting NVIDIA's cuPQC, a recently launched pioneering library set to redefine cryptography in the quantum era. NVIDIA's cuPQC leverages "the unmatched parallelism of NVIDIA GPUs to meet the rigorous demands of next-generation security algorithms, marking a monumental leap in bringing PQC to environments that stand to benefit most from their protection," including telecommunications, insurance, banking, and finance, critical infrastructure, and the public sector—all of which QuSecure currently and actively supports.
SentinelOne and Aon Announce Collaboration
SentinelOne, a global leader of XDR solutions, and Aon plc, a leading global professional services firm, this week announced a strategic collaboration through which Aon will leverage SentinelOne's Singularity Platform to help gather internal security data from SentinelOne's clients to profile and mitigate cyber risk more effectively.
