Camunda Releases the 2025 State of Process Orchestration and Automation Report
Camunda, a process orchestration and automation solution provider, has released its 2025 State of Process Orchestration and Automation Report. The report reveals that over 80 percent of organizations fear the "digital chaos" created by their increasingly complex, interconnected, and automated processes. Other takeaways from the report include a lack of control leading to increased compliance risks for 82 percent of organizations, 77 percent of companies reporting a higher risk of core business processes failing, and 82 percent believing that, if those risks go unchecked, they could lead to serious problems moving forward.
Cognizant and CrowdStrike Announce a New Strategic Partnership
Cognizant and CrowdStrike have announced details on a new strategic partnership that will focus on driving enterprise security transformations by providing cybersecurity services backed up by the AI-native CrowdStrike Falcon cybersecurity platform. As part of the collaboration, Cognizant will help organizations across industries leverage the Falcon Next-Gen SIEM and Falcon Cloud Security solutions to consolidate fragmented legacy point products, strengthen their cybersecurity posture, reduce the complexity of managing cybersecurity programs, and streamline their security operations and threat mitigation efforts.
Databricks Closes Cool $15 Billion in Financing Round
Databricks, a data and AI company, has closed its Series J funding. Existing investor QIA led the funding, with additional participation from new investors Temasek and entities administered by Macquarie Capital. Additionally, Meta has joined as a new strategic investor. Databricks will use this capital to invest in new AI products, acquisitions, and the expansion of its international go-to-market operations. The funding round valued the company at $62 billion.
DataDome Details its New DDoS Protect Service
DataDome, a cyber-fraud protection solution, has announced DDoS Protect, a cloud-based service that will focus on blocking distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack traffic at the edge to prevent it from overwhelming a company's infrastructure. The service is designed to provide always-on, full-stack protection capable of detecting and mitigating application layer-based threats within milliseconds, including evasive, short-lived Layer 7 DDoS attacks. Additional features of the DDoS Protect service include complete visualization of all L7 DDoS attack traffic, business continuity, automated attack blocking, and more.
Microsoft and SAP Announce a Joint Initiative
Microsoft and SAP have announced the RISE with SAP on Microsoft Azure Global Acceleration Program, a joint initiative that aims to accelerate and complement the adoption of RISE with SAP. The program will provide prescriptive guidance, proven recommendations, and security principles to help organizations transition to the cloud and unlock the full potential of their SAP investments. Additional program benefits include a reliable migration framework, increased security via implementing Microsoft Sentinel for RISE with SAP, and a resilient environment to help teams equip themselves with the skills they need for an AI-driven future.
OpenAI Releases New 'Operator' Agent
OpenAI has revealed details on "Operator," the company's latest artificial intelligence (AI) assistant designed to carry out a variety of web tasks. It will be available first to ChatGPT Pro users. The company describes the Operator tool as “an agent that can go to the web to perform tasks for you,” saying it is capable of navigating web pages and interacting with the buttons and menus people see on the websites they visit.
Progress Software Launches New Data Cloud
Progress, an AI-powered digital experience and infrastructure software provider, has announced the launch of Progress Data Cloud, a managed Data Platform as a Service that aims to simplify enterprise data and AI operations in the cloud. With this offering, organizations can accelerate their digital transformation and AI initiatives while also reducing operational complexity and IT overhead. Progress Data Cloud is available now for existing and new customers of the MarkLogic and Semaphore platforms.
Qualtrics and SAP Announce a New Partnership
Qualtrics, an experience management (XM) solution provider, has announced a new partnership with SAP. The companies will work together to provide clients with the joint capabilities of SAP SuccessFactors and Qualtrics XM for Employee Experience. This will enable clients to reduce unwanted employee attrition by improving employee experiences, optimizing employee engagement, and maximizing productivity. Additionally, organizations will receive access to several Qualtrics AI tools, including Qualtrics Assist for Employee Experience, Qualtrics Comment Summaries, and Qualtrics Conversational Feedback.
ServiceNow Expands its Global Partner Program
ServiceNow, an AI platform for business transformation, has announced a significant expansion to its global partner program. As part of the expansion, the company has nearly quadrupled its investment in various incentives and specializations that aim to help partners benefit from ServiceNow's AI solutions and deliver value to their customers. Specific additions to the partner program include additional product line achievements (PLA) for Now Assist, a new GenAI Customer Value Partner of the Year award, and expanded specializations for partners.
