Fortinet, a global cybersecurity provider focused on networking and security, has announced significant enhancements to the FortiAnalyzer solution. These updates will reinforce the platform's ability to drive faster, smarter security operations (SecOps), all from a single, turnkey hybrid platform tailored for midsize enterprises and teams affected by the ongoing cyber skills shortage. This update introduces a fully cloud-native solution designed to seamlessly integrate all privileged access management processes into Keeper's encrypted vault. LastPass Enhances its Partner Program
LastPass, an identity and password manager, has announced significant enhancements to its Partner Program, making it easier for partners to sell and support LastPass solutions. These updates include an improved MSP admin experience, a centralized partner portal, and optimized partner pillars, which include clearer benefits, standardized discounts at deal registration, and seamless integration with the new Partner Portal. OpenAI Surpasses 400 Million Weekly Active Users
ChatGPT developer OpenAI says that its active users have surged past 400 million in February. For comparison's sake, the company had 300 million weekly active users in December, while its paying business users crossed 2 million in February, more than doubling from its last update in September. The numbers come weeks after China's DeepSeek launched an AI model it said could match or even outperform Western rivals at a fraction of the cost, stirring doubts about U.S. dominance in the generative AI space.
OpenText Launches the OpenText Core Threat Detection and Response Solution
OpenText, an Information Management software provider, has announced OpenText Core Threat Detection and Response, an AI-powered cybersecurity solution for threat detection that will be generally available with Cloud Editions 25.2. The new solution is deeply integrated with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft Security Copilot, empowering companies to stop attacks faster, more efficiently, and before damage occurs. Other functionalities include advanced anomaly detection, adaptive learning powered by advanced machine learning models, simplified deployment processes, and more.
Privacera Updates its AI Governance Platform
Privacera, the AI and data security governance company founded by the creators of Apache Ranger, has announced significant updates to its AI Governance (PAIG) platform. These additions reinforce the company's commitment to AI risk management and compliance and will help align PAIG to the existing National Institute of Standards and Technology’s (NIST) AI Risk Management Framework.
Quest Software Announces New Ransomware Recovery Features
Quest Software, a global provider of AI-powered cybersecurity, data management, and migration solutions, is driving the next evolution of Identity Threat Detection and Response (ITDR) and disaster recovery—has developed two new solutions for its unified identity cloud platform: Security Guardian Shields Up and Disaster Recovery for Identity. Salesforce Launches its Spring '25 Product Release
Salesforce has announced details on its Spring '25 product release, which is live now. The new release introduces hundreds of new features to Salesforce's solution suite—specifically Agenforce—its digital labor platform, including a library of pre-built skills, enhanced reasoning powered by the Atlas Reasoning Engine, and a collection of pre-built integrations. Some specific features include expanded language support for the Prompt Builder tool, retrieval augmented generation (RAG) in Agentforce for Sales, new functionalities for the Event Monitoring feature, bidirectional data access for Salesforce Data Cloud, and more.
Securiti and Databricks Detail a New Partnership
Securiti, a data security, privacy, governance, and compliance company, has announced a partnership with Databricks, a data and AI company. As part of the collaboration, the companies will integrate Databricks Mosaic AI and Delta tables into Securiti's Gencore AI solution. This will help customers safely sync unstructured data with the necessary context, fuel the scaled use of data and AI, develop personalized AI applications with Databricks Mosaic AI, and ultimately use their proprietary data to build safer, enterprise-grade generative AI systems and AI agents.
Upland Introduces a New Sidekick Feature to the Upland Panviva Solution
