Enterprise Agility
Catch phrase of the week ... enterprise agility.
When talking to clients about our interim model a common theme being played back to me is our model enables their “enterprise agility”. Having a lean core team and then tapping into externally provided, or contingent, skills at a point in time when the business needs it is ‘how things are done now’. This is more then 'agile' as more commonly known in IT projects, it is an organisational wide way of thinking that is crossing into strategy, execution, operations and talent sourcing.
The interim model has moved well beyond a "hold the fort" requirement. At Watermark, we are increasingly finding ourselves called in for proven talent to assist with business projects or programs of work that need to be delivered. Agile is now also a talent sourcing term. The desired elements of proven experience & immediacy are in high demand.
Our annual Interim survey which tracks trends in the Australian Interim marketplace, due to be released in June, will provide further insights into the exponential growth of this way of engaging talent but for today the buzz word from clients is .... enterprise agility.

6 年Agree totally Jacinta. In my basic kind of language its why buy, when you can rent? But enterprise agility says it much better.
