Entering the IT industry with the right support - everyone codes meets Cloudflight

At everyone codes, we know that learning entirely new skill sets and entering the IT industry is not easy but possible. Aside from persistence, growth mindset, hard work and other traits, one of the key ingredients is to get the proper support from industry professionals. We also know that cooperations with companies who share our values and willingness to help people start a new life are always enjoyable.?

At the beginning of July, our 16 talented Junior UX designers visited our colleagues from Cloudflight in their office in Vienna. After a tour through the cosy workspace done by Hien Ngoc Nguyen Vu we sat down to talk to Luzia Kettl and Thomas Weckermann (UX Designers at Cloudflight ).

The goal was to give the participants of our ongoing "UX design programme" a chance to talk to professional UX designers and ask questions like:

• What do you look for when hiring a Junior UX Designer??
• What's the most challenging aspect of a UX job??
• How's the work-life balance at Cloudflight?

One of the participants said afterwards: "They gave me many answers - even to the questions I didn't think of."

This was not our first time connecting Cloudflight and our participants.

The Cloudflight Coding Contest (CCC) was organised for everyone codes and the code reviews where developers from Cloudflight gave feedback on the code to the participants of the Software Development programme became already a yearly tradition.?
