"Enter Your Privilege Position of Prayer." - Psalm 16:11
In our society, the focus is often on the privileged few, while those in desperation are left begging for the crumbs that are behind the locked gates they’re not privileged to enter. Standing at these societal gates are:
· Hearts and
· Souls,
Whose lives is filled with a sense of isolation. All around us, the cries of desperate hearts can be heard:
· The grief-stricken widower,
· The abused child,
· The prisoner in jail;
And the list goes on and on. From every walk, daily millions of souls face each sunrise in desperation, and without hope. Throughout the pages of history, we’ve read about how those men and woman, in their destitution cried out for deliverance from their impoverished state.
However, because of the Lord Jesus Christ, your faith allows you to enter a privileged position, of which no man can deny you to enter. This privilege is that of the priceless prayer. Priceless prayer is that scarlet thread woven by the Holy Spirit into your heart, so you can humbly approach God, and communicate your needs to Him. Prayer is your 24- 7- 365 channel, that you can use to communication with God.
When you truly pray from your heart, you open the listening ears of God, whereas you can talk to Him, and share with Him your utmost needs. Prayer was never meant to be ordinary. It’s the most exalted privilege known to mankind.
The greatest known hindrance to a believer, while waiting on an answer from God is fear, which is the opposite of faith. Believers should never take counsel from their fears. Rather learn to move forward in faith as the Holy Spirit guides, and grow in your privileged place of prayer –Romans 8:26.
