I've been a part of Youth Unlimited Edmonton (YUE) since December 2020, where I handle Office Administration, Event Management, Communications, HR, and Prospect Research Development.

This summer, I’m taking on a personal challenge: walking, running, cycling (on a pedal bike, not an e-bike), and rollerblading a total of 500 km. My goal is to raise $20,000 for at-risk youth in our community. Youth Unlimited’s programs make a significant impact by supporting over 1500 youth annually and providing 9000 meals.

I have a raffle item generously donated by Planet Fitness a "one-year black membership" valued at $430. Anyone who donates at least $100 towards my fundraising page to support vulnerable youth will be entered into a draw to win this gift certificate. The winner will be announced on Friday, August 30th.

In Edmonton alone, there are 50,000 at-risk youth. These adolescents often face challenges that hinder their transition to adulthood and self-sufficiency, making them more vulnerable to a life of crime. They need temporary or ongoing intervention to succeed academically and otherwise.

I’ve already raised $1,110.00 but I need your help to reach my $20,000 goal. Imagine if everyone donated just $20, less than the cost of a week’s coffee! If you’re feeling generous, a $50 donation would be incredibly impactful. Your support will go directly towards empowering and supporting vulnerable youth who need it now more than ever.

This does not have to be their story. Youth Unlimited’s vision is to see every vulnerable young person explore their potential, understand their worth, and discover hope. Our mission is to invest in the lives of youth by providing holistic care, mentoring relationships, safe communities, and opportunities to give back.
