Enter Into the Season of Change

Enter Into the Season of Change

Change is a choice. Change is challenging. Why change? How do you change 'normal'... what feels right?

“I was so obsessed with me and the reasons that I might be dissatisfied that I couldn’t focus on other people.”Barack Obama

How do you change what you want and believe you need? What will it take? How will you know?

What are you looking for? Who are you looking for? What do you hope to find?

What is truth? What's a lie? What is real? What is imagined? How would you know?

Where is God? Who is Jesus? What does he look like? Where is Jesus? How do you find him?

If you are looking for Jesus on the cross, you’ll not find Him there. He's not there in the grave, either. Turn around. He is close... real close. He is real and very much alive! He wants to know you and for you to know him. He loves you.

Your sin has been removed from your past, present, and future. The stone keeping you in bondage has been rolled away. You've been raised up with Jesus through relationship with him. Shed the grave clothes and leave the stench of your past behind. Step into the sweet aroma that is freedom into new life.

“I have no direct control over my temperament. If what we are matters even more than what we do… then it follows that the change which I most need to undergo is a change that my own direct, voluntary efforts cannot bring about.” —C.S. Lewis

When your life was consumed by flames the fireman found you. When wounded and broken the doctor healed you. When all was lost, the carpenter rebuilt your life and restored it's beauty. What was once a cottage is now a castle. Invite him to move in and live there with you.

Jesus is right there; at the door of your soul... knocking... calling. He has extended grace to you. Get up and walk into the very best of your new life experience. Be washed clean in the living water of his compassionate mercy. Let go of the burden and bathe in his generous favor. Soak yourself in it.

"There is a sorrow that the soul must go through in letting go of what it thought it loved. We have to come to the place where we truly get it that what God wants for us is GOOD. To some degree, our resistance to His will reveals that we do not really believe it is good---at least not the kind of 'good' we want." —Fran Leeman

It's been said by some that it's hard to believe in God... Jesus... that believing in God is like believing in Santa Claus. Don't look now, but "Santa" has landed his sleigh on your roof. Let God come in and give you the best of what he has for you. Once you have known the substance and experienced the evidence of God, you will see clearly that living faith in relationship with him makes the most sense in the deepest places of who you are and what you value.
