Enter the new colourful BOLON showroom in Berlin?
Flooring made in Sweden meets design made in Berlin. Since mid-November, the doors of our new BOLON showroom in Berlin-Mitte, not far from Hackescher Markt, are open.
?In Linienstra?e, where the fa?ades of the plain old buildings nestle together, a tranquil street where the stores make do without neon signs or other eye-catching advertising media, something suddenly gets loud at number 121. Boom! Bolon!
?The doors to the latest addition to our BOLON showroom family have been open since mid-November. On 100 square meters, you can immerse yourself in the world of BOLON, our wide product range and different installation techniques. Lots of colours meet lots of patterns, and not only on the floor, the furniture and interior details also make statements. If it doesn’t make a statement it’s not a BOLON showroom!?
"It was important to us to continue in Berlin, what characterizes other BOLON locations. In the interior, we always work with local brands and designers who inspire us and have a similar mindset to us," says Annica Eklund , Chief Creative Officer at BOLON.
In this case, the Berlin-based design brands OUT OBJEKTE UNSERER TAGE , LOEHR and Neo/Craft, as well as the designer duo J?ll & Tofta.?

The new space is reminiscent of an apartment. After all, when you visit a BOLON location, whether guest house, HQ, office or showroom, it should feel like home. Anyone visiting the latest showroom is greeted by a vibrant lounge, fitted with products from our Truly collection. Combined with a generously proportioned emerald green modular sofa from Objekte Unserer Tage, this area sends an unmistakable message to all guests: we're all about relaxation. Take your time. Coffee?
Visitors walk over the collage-like pattern of "I See You" in chalk white, which is installed as rolls. A custom rug of "Anything Everything" in dark green lying on top adds a graphic vibe. Behind this is an adjoining workshop area that can be separated from the lounge by semi-see-through curtains from Swedish textile manufacturer Ludvig Svensson. The floor is louder here, while the furnishings are more subdued in terms of colour. The round table by Loehr, coated with light gray linoleum, invites you to concentrate on your work, while the kitchen unit designed by J?ll & Tofta and the lights by Neo/Craft play with reflections and give the showroom a true BOLON touch. In the ceiling there’s a lightning concept by Lumoplan Lichtplanung Berlin . On the floor, strong colours from the Artisan, BKB and Now collections meet geometric shapes and move you along a corridor to an office and bathroom. New colours from the Botanic and Artisan collections, gives the space a conceptually quieter finish.?
?The only remaining question is: why a new showroom, why in Germany, and why in Berlin? Marie Eklund , Chief Executive Officer of the brand, says: "Germany has been one of our most important and fastest-growing markets for years. It was therefore very important to us to give people here the opportunity to experience us live and get to know us". Marie Eklund explains why Berlin was chosen within Germany: "We love Berlin. We've always felt connected to the city and its special energy. Berlin is colourful and loud, extremely creative and versatile - all qualities that we also attribute to BOLON".
