Imagine having enough time each day to get everything accomplished. It may seem impossible to do something for yourself when there are so many demands on your schedule. Many people say that one of the main reasons they do not exercise is a lack of time. However, if they simply made a slight adjustment to their schedule they could squeeze in some exercise. It does not take hours at the gym to reap the benefits of exercise.
If you are short on time it is perfect to enter the interval. Interval training allows a person to perform an intense workout in a short duration. Interval training simply involves alternating between intense and lighter exercise. Interval training can involve switching between walking and jogging when starting out to alternating sprints with jogging as you progress. If you are outdoors you can switch between high and low intensity at various land marks such as light poles. Interval training can be done on cardio machines as well. Remember to think of interval training when you are crunched for time and when you need more variety in your training program.
