Ensuring quality in the exhaust system in Electric Vehicles

  • Series Hybrids: In this case, the internal combustion engine charges the batteries, while the electric motor drives the wheels. Here, the exhaust system is geared more towards emissions management during charging.

  3. Electrical Safety: Inspect the integrity of electrical cables and connections, as well as the entire electronic control system, to prevent risks of short circuits or overheating.
  4. Systematic Integration: Verify the seamless integration of exhaust system components with other vehicle systems.
  5. Sensor Performance: Ensure that temperature sensors provide accurate measurements to avoid temperature-related issues.
  6. Software Update: Verify that the Electronic Control System (ECU) has the latest software to ensure optimal control of the systems.
  7. Durability of Thermal Insulation: Ensure the correct functioning of the thermal control system, validating that the thermal insulation is durable and effective in preventing overheating problems.
  8. Extreme Operating Conditions: Evaluate how the exhaust system and associated components respond to extreme conditions, such as very high or very low temperatures.
