Enough.
I'm not one to post on political topics. I respect peoples' opinions and differences. I didn't even tell my 18 year old son who he should vote for because he is perfectly capable of thinking for himself.
That being said, please allow me to say this:
You cannot demand Americans as a whole to be 100% tolerant when it suits you and be 100% intolerant when it doesn't. There cannot be a double standard.
Please get off the streets already so our hard working citizens can commute peacefully to and from work to put food on the table for their families.
If you are not going to enlist to serve this great Country then at least don't disrespect it by burning our American flag.
If you are not going to put your life on the line everyday to protect our communities, then at least respect those who do and don't make their job any harder than it already is.
Understand that in life, things won't always go your way, and that's fine. It's not the end of the world. In four years, you will have another opportunity to have your voice heard in the ballot box; but at least don't set out to sabotage this Country because of your disgust.
If you are a True American you will always want what is best for this Country even if that means being civil when you would rather riot.
We would all benefit by practicing self restraint. Violence is anti-progress and a byproduct of a people not in control of their emotions. We cannot condone this type of behavior.
This Country can heal, but not by being "Right or Left," not by spewing hateful words one to another and certainly not by demanding tolerance when we ourselves cannot honor someone else by doing the same.
This Country is full of Uniters and Dividers, but it seems lately, the Dividers are taking over. We have to sober up to this reality and stand up for unity, NOW. Preaching hate, revenge and violence is not the answer.
If everyone truly wants what is best for this Country, we will set our personal views and agendas aside and begin to come together as the brothers and sisters that we are and work together for the betterment of our Country.
No more hate. Please.
