The challenge was to attract more diverse and suitable talents, ensuring that the company’s values align with a culture where everyone feels respected and appreciated for being themselves. Working Together: A Positive Experience

“My overall experience of participating in this challenge and working with the students was extremely positive, pleasant, and professional.”

Implementing the Solutions

The challenge had three parts: D&I Definitions and Statement, Inclusive Job Descriptions, and Designing a Job Interview. Artur mentioned,

“The statement shared in the final report is now part of the new company website design.”

Additionally, the inclusive job descriptions have resulted in an overwhelming response, attracting more diverse candidates. The ideas and approach from the report are being integrated into the internship interview process, fostering an inclusive hiring process.

The Student Perspective: Challenging and Enlightening

The student team found the challenge both challenging and insightful.

“We appreciated the opportunity to put what we’ve learned in class into actual practice.”

They recognized that theory alone couldn’t address real-world complexities and appreciated the chance to offer practical solutions.
