Enjoying a Perfectly Eerie Weekend Getaway

Enjoying a Perfectly Eerie Weekend Getaway

Overseas tours become mauvais ton among Ukrainian high-tech gals and guys. They are craving for locally brewed thrills. And, here is such a destination. Mysticism, surrealism and grotesque are all about Nikolai Gogol, a Russian dramatist of Ukrainian origin, his literature works, and his creepy mansion. It is worth mentioning that Gogol burned some of his manuscripts, which contained most of the second part of Dead Souls. He explained this as a practical joke played on him by the Devil. Soon after that, he took to bed, refused all food, and passed away in unbearable agony. Many years after his death, his body was discovered lying face down hinting that Gogol had been buried alive.

So, if you are brave to visit Gogol’s manor, order a dramatized tour at www.gogol-museum.org
