Dear Pepe,

Because the ride-of-life there is only one,

and it feels too short to waste it

on value-less dynamics,

on conflictive relationships,

on toxic people,

or on degrading jobs.

Because the rides-of-joy are easy to miss,

while you’re busy on the wrong priorities,

while you worry on small things,

while you don’t enjoy what you have

and long for a never-ending list of unimportant things.

Surround yourself by competent loving people,

that help you to learn and grow,

that make smile and laugh,

that challenge you to think constructively,

that show you to live and let live.

And drop the rest.

No matter how much it shines

it’s not worth it.
