Becoming successful starts with a decision to be successful and that begins by believing in ourselves.

It’s impossible to become successful at anything without believing we can achieve our dreams.

Self-confidence is the catalyst that serves as a daily reminder that we have the capacity to endure adversity and remain focused on realizing our potential.

Self-confidence gives us the foundation required to lead ourselves and those around us with conviction and purpose.?

Self-confidence and self-belief are complimentary forces that merge and inspire remarkable action.

In a perfect world this homogenous combination results in learning to love ourselves and developing the independence necessary to venture off alone to achieve incredible results.

At Anatomy of Success, we encourage people to define success on their terms.? However, without a strong belief in ourself it’s difficult to create a more successful life.

Vision

Setbacks aren’t a reflection of “who we are”, they are things that happen and demand the right response to overcome.? Have the vision to appreciate obstacles are opportunities to maneuver.

Self-doubt

The voices inside our head will often become our biggest liability.? Negative thoughts can become crippling and culminate into a chorus of toxic energy.? We need to recondition our inner dialogue and speak to ourselves without impunity. That starts by developing a new discourse consistent with success.? Concurring self-doubt is critical for extraordinary success.

Best friend

Learn to become your own best friend.? Sound silly, it isn’t.? Learning to love yourself is paramount to enjoying a satisfying life, and learning to rely on your own ability to "sooth pain" is imperative.? Relaying on external sources to appease distress is a dangerous proposition.? Fall in love with yourself and enjoy a remarkable friendship that will last a lifetime.? This is the process of developing better self-awareness and emotional intelligence.

Find people that support your dreams and spend less energy on perimeter friends that drain precious emotional resources.?

Learn

Learn to love learning and keep your mind invigorated with new ideas, inspirational work, and successful authors.? I read every day and I highly encourage you to make learning a critical part of your daily routine.? Learning becomes complete when we share what know with other people, especially our teams, family, and friends.???

Focus

We can develop an optimistic attitude and learn to be more positive.? Both are essential for success.? Retraining our focus helps us stay commitment to the process of becoming successful and less distracted by all the intoxicating devices that surround us.? Learning to focus and do quality work is essential for success.? Focus is a necessary skill that requires daily practice.??

Grow

Embrace personal and professional growth and never get complacent.? Success can make people soft.? I see MMA fighters that were once fierce gain success and lose their edge.? Unless we stay committed to growth, learn new skills, espouse new challenges, and learn to react to setbacks effectively, we will lack the confidence and self-belief that develops from historical precedence.??
