Enhancing Student Employability – Key Takeaways from FDP
Attending the three-day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Empower and Elevate was an enriching experience that provided valuable insights into personal and professional growth. The sessions covered essential topics such as storytelling video resumes, speed interviews, speed networking, and group discussions—each playing a vital role in career readiness.
This program further reinforced my belief in the significance of soft skills for students. As an educator, I feel more empowered to guide my students in enhancing their communication, networking, and interview techniques, ultimately improving their placement prospects.
With these newfound insights, I plan to incorporate interactive learning strategies into my teaching, enabling students to build confidence and present themselves effectively in a competitive job market. Focusing on skill development will not only enhance their career opportunities but also equip them to navigate and excel in dynamic professional environments.
