For spatial data from different sources and in different formats, SuperMap GIS provides multi-source data access capabilities, which can fully access terrain, images, vector point lines and planes, oblique photography 3D models, point clouds, architectural white models, urban fine models, and BIM , underground pipelines, geological bodies, IoT sensing data, etc., so as to realize the intuitive display of air-space/surface/underground, indoor/outdoor full-space information. In order to access multi-source heterogeneous data in a more comprehensive and real-time manner, SuperMap GIS 2023 further improves the multi-source data access capability:
1. Added support for native access to binary .x and .stl urban fine models, and supports the expression of city-level 3D scenes;
2. Improve GIM (Grid Information Model, grid information model) data format analysis capabilities, support lossless access to more general equipment models released by the State Grid, and provide technical support for digital grids;
3. Support the use of voxel grids to simulate global-level weather phenomena, simulate large-scale atmospheric motion phenomena (potential temperature disturbances) through voxel grids, and assist in in-depth exploration of climate change laws (Figure 1 ) ;
4. It supports processing the IoT sensing data of river water level into multi-time series S3M tiles to simulate flood submersion and river flow, as shown in Figure 2. It can be applied to emergency decision-making such as flood control, flood control, and disaster prevention and mitigation of dam breaks.
Significantly improve multi-source data processing capabilities more efficient and smarter
Previously, in order to make full use of multi-source spatial data and tap the value of spatial data, SuperMap GIS provided vertex-by-vertex coordinate conversion, data registration, data translation and rotation, and various data calculation and processing functions, which can realize accurate matching of multi-source heterogeneous data It also supports the construction of automatic data processing business flow through processing automation (GPA) tools, which can realize the automation of data processing and analysis processes such as terrain, oblique photography 3D models, and BIM. In order to realize more efficient and intelligent mining of the value of spatial data, SuperMap GIS 2023 has added multiple data processing functions and tools (Figure 3), greatly improving the multi-source data processing capabilities.
Improve the processing ability of oblique photography 3D model
Previously, SuperMap GIS supported the construction of large-scale oblique photography 3D models based on GPA tools to process automatic business flows, which effectively improved the processing efficiency of large-scale oblique photography 3D model data. This year, SuperMap GIS 2023 has newly added functions such as oblique photography 3D model preprocessing, partial update, breakpoint continuous generation, etc., which further improves the oblique photography 3D model processing capability (Figure 4).
Through the preprocessing function of the oblique photography 3D model, it can check the integrity of the file and whether there is any damaged file, and then inform the user of the relevant information through the log, and support automatic repair of abnormal data, including bounding box abnormality, triangulation abnormality, texture redundancy , missing textures, etc., and automatically cut the wrong data backup from the source directory to ensure that the subsequent successful generation of S3M tiles (Figure 5).
In the process of generating S3M tiles from oblique photographic 3D models, the generation is often interrupted due to various emergencies, such as computer power failure, insufficient operating memory, insufficient disk space, sudden crash, and file corruption of original data, etc. For this reason, SuperMap GIS 2023 has newly added support for the breakpoint continuous generation function. After forcibly interrupting the process of tilting into the warehouse, reopen the desktop, and then use the breakpoint continuous generation function, which can automatically read the progress of the last generation and continue to complete the tilt Storage work.
With the acceleration of urban digital transformation, the dynamic update of urban data is particularly important, especially the partial update of oblique photography 3D models. To this end, SuperMap GIS 2023 has newly added support for partial update of oblique photography 3D models, supports data update of arbitrary polygons and discretely distributed areas, and only updates associated node data. Unbounded data can be reused, which can greatly improve It saves processing time and supports the storage of historical version information. It can quickly switch historical versions based on one piece of data, and is also compatible with old version products. Old version products support loading and displaying updated data. The Web3D client product SuperMap iClient3D for WebGL also supports dynamic switching to display data in any historical period. When switching historical versions, only the data in the updated area is refreshed, which can greatly improve the data browsing experience .

Improve urban fine model processing capabilities
For urban fine-grained models, SuperMap GIS 2023 has newly added the function of supporting model quality inspection, and improved the function of partial data update. Through the model quality inspection function, you can check out the problems in the data and give corresponding prompts, such as too many vertices, too many sub-objects, too large texture size, etc., according to the prompts, you can remove duplicate points/faces and merge models Functions such as model segmentation and texture remapping automatically process the data to standardize the data to ensure the performance of subsequent generation of S3M tiles.
Previously, SuperMap GIS 2022 supported urban fine model data to be updated based on "scope", that is, to add, delete, modify geometric objects, and update attribute information based on the bounding box information of the updated area. This year, in order to achieve more accurate local update of data, SuperMap GIS 2023 has newly added support for updating urban fine model data based on "objects", that is, adding and modifying geometric objects and updating attribute information based on specific object ID information.
