Utilising SCHUNK - Hand in hand for tomorrow 's PGN parallel gripper and a wenglor sensoric group scanner, our innovative dual-action gripper jaw allows CoboTend to efficiently pick billets from one end, place the part into a fixture, then reposition it halfway along its length before inserting it into the machine.?

SICK’s nanoScan3 Pro safety laser scanner provides 360° coverage to CoboTend. Two scanners positioned on opposite corners of our mobile cobot unit mean CoboTend can operate at speed, but slow to a safe speed when a person is detected in the working area. This ensures maximum productivity while operating safely around humans on the shop floor.?
