Meet The Team! ??

Sam Davies joined our team this May as our Marketing & Communications Executive and has already made an impact.

He's the magician behind our socials and is working behind the scenes on many of the projects and campaigns we have underway.

Over the next 12 months, LinkedIn will see more of Sam and our fantastic team, showcasing how we have transformed supporter acquisition and much more that has helped charities market themselves more effectively.


How did you get into the marketing?

“Since I was younger I have always taken an interest in marketing and sales questioning how businesses use marketing to scale up and grow. I originally took an interest in social media organic growth due to my college background in photography and from the outside even then I noticed how much of a major role online presence plays in the modern world.

Following on into my marketing career I have spent time with many organisations from delivering face-to-face regular giving acquisition for charities, organic growth for a not-for-profit business consultancy as well as all the amazing work I have done during my time with Navigator.

Once I joined Navigator my eyes opened up to what paid media campaigns can offer for businesses and why it is so important for all businesses including charities to make the most of what paid campaigns provide. At this point, all the dots began to connect for me and I began to see the value in marketing beyond solely organic social media growth.”


What made you decide to join Navigator?

“Well in short it’s the people within the businesses who are all passionate about creating a business who not only deliver fantastic results but are good people to work with and for. There is a real buzz and feel-good factor about the work we are all involved in together and to be able to help charities with some being close to home in my personal life too means a lot. The professional investment they are actively putting into me will allow me to grow and enable me to deliver high-quality campaigns long into the future for our clients.”


Where do you see Navigator in 5 years?

“I see us expanding and fully extending our service offerings to become the charity agency of choice, helping charities gain and retain supporters. The ultimate goal from my end is to see Navigator help charities fundraise in more efficient ways which will free up time and resources to focus on other operations they may have within their organisation. I believe we are already achieving our goal but this links back to extending the offerings and working with many more charities as we have something truly special in the making which charities worldwide can all gain from.”


What personal message do you have to all the readers?

"Navigator means a lot to me and I have learned a lot but that isn't even scratching the surface of my long-term ambition. I want to do well to put it simply not for myself but for my colleagues and the charities we work with because it's so important that they continuously raise money to help those who need it most. We have a lot of work to do that is going to come with a wave of challenges that are going to test us. Myself and our team are ready.
