Are Enhanced Property Marketing Packages Worth the Money?
A client of mine, who is a leading local estate agent asks this very question on his company blog. His argument, (in a nutshell) is that excellent property marketing should be "business as usual" and that having a two tier method leaves the lower tier at somewhat of a disadvantage to the top. The argument goes on to point out that the market should not be split into the haves and have nots but rather a good agency should ideally be working to give all of it's vendors the same high level of service.
Being a business owner, my client can project his ideal situation onto his company and in doing so he is doing very well. He emailed me today for advice on a second camera as the one he has is always out being used. I personally can't fault the logic in the above sentiment and his turnover of property does prove it. I see his boards up going up all over the place!
But there is a caveat:
If your best photos are not as good as the competition, then are you not limiting your vendor's chances anyway?
I would be very happy to get any points of view on this, especially from any estate agents or realtor's reading this post.

7 年A lot depends on whether you end up getting value for money and the way I would measure that is the number of quality, inquiries received from potential buyers. Obviously the information being conveniently accessible to potential buyers including the views of what is on sale is very important. As they say "A picture is worth a thousand words." Potential buyers should also be filtered to remove obvious time-wasters.
