I often notice there to be little argument that after the mother language, it is English to have mentioned status for Bangladeshi graduates for ages. I expect it unwise saying to you for mass level people of our country.
No, I say to graduate people in Bangladesh. Unfortunately, these mass graduates have little idea how much unfortunate, they are not to realize early what I say! Partly, because the majority of them come from small peasant families in Bangladesh where their forefathers were not educated, much education and sense of true consciousness or conscience often comes through them as diplomatic farce advice everywhere unless coming by ethical standard, bitter veracity,
Of course, one was born into an uneducated and unfortunate family, it is definitely not for his fault. But the crime is being a graduate one not to solve in time, like saying Bill Gates, being a poor family depicts nothing, but when one does not like to be rich that can be flaw ideas! I mean here: when he does not like to be rich ( in mind) that can be flawed ideas
Like 50-100 years ago, reckoning few could have graduation degrees in this part of greater India that I have little idea who are they, like hardly 1000 families, ( counted Dhaka University graduates after 1921) fortunately, including writer's family ( grandfather graduated in 1902, father in 1935) as well. These mentioned families had connections to erstwhile the British India colony ( before 1947) like the capital of Calcutta (an indigenous name -Kolkata)
Yes, I indicate them new posterity who have been struggling to have a great score in IELTS or verbal of GRE in Bangladesh every year. A good score over there must open the door to a great-rank University without tuition fees despite having moderate academic scores! However, with great scores in academic life, there is little possibility to get admitted to an Ivy League even 1-30 no. Universities never unless a great score to the mentioned English!
Yes, I indicate our majority bureaucrats of BCS officers whose level of English is still B1-B2 by the Cambridge scale where bureaucrats need at least C1 level, better C2, to be effective negotiators in the international counterpart of the socio-economic and geopolitical arena or to get admitted easily to said rank Universities. Noticing the same position is for the majority of public/pvt. University teachers when I take their classes for IELTS and GRE verbal all the way.
They would have had us convince that they desperately needed to have English language courses in their early life. Fortunately, we will have them all writing English within a few months.
Depressed by Pakistani, Indian, and Chinese politics, Bangladesh has been passing through a suffocated situation after 1947 mostly after 1971 as our majority of political helmsmen are desperately lagged behind how to stir up Bangladesh in the international politics as they are not articulate in the English language most.
Interestingly, the majority of con artists ( sorry to use the word as it is proven the majority are, unfortunately, guile and corrupted people in BD as mentioned graduates have little ability to hold them off by writing to the world's best communities like once they did and brought our independence in 1971!) have not been suffered as they usually gather a great amount of wealth illegally on their toes by the means of political cartel! Many of their posterity enjoy descent lives abroad and at home.
The sufferers of groups are almost all the first graduate people from peasant or small business families who dreamt of a nice story in their imminent life. The unfortunate have little chance to rectify themselves as they are often misled by those mentioned con artists in school, college early life, and right time!
However, before the independence of Bangladesh, the majority of the first graduates in a family were very conscious about their rights to foreign rulers like West Pakistan, and so were their politics. The majority of graduates were great in the English language at Dhaka University and so were bureaucrats, among both civil and military for their rights.

It seems after independence the ability of English language knowledge has been eroding among mass-level people even graduates by much deep-rooted agenda (?) or not, I have no idea at all. Like,
This way of Plato's theory has been winning every time--like, the qualified will be punished by less quality unless they, the first group, not to join the politics!
For the last, say 30 years, the new posterity has become an illiterate race as they have no native-style English capability whereas our neighbor other countries have been dominating us with great English ( like they often get chances in Ivy league Universities more and more, hardly Bangladesh, search by statistics) in Geo politics on behalf of us. The mentioned are better ready to control us by better education! Not Chinese ( Chinese, Japanese, and Indian graduates are enviously learning English that reflected to get admitted to the mentioned Ivy League, I meant it) nor has the Japanese language such an impact in the international community, research, and education, so does English itself only, let alone French.
Mass level of people don't need a great level say C1-C2 English as they can run their small business or work abroad like labor so easily as they are happy with what they get that is enough luck but what about a graduate dreamer? You will see these mass level in YouTube or social media, and don't be misguided as these hue and cry nothing to learn properly, quality important, I say it.
The majority of graduate people abilities in Bangladesh present day are below 7 overall IELTS or GRE verbal 150, like, statistics in 2020, Cambridge IELTS takers from Bangladesh, see average score. Also, get through ETS for GRE verbal.
Developed countries need laborers, but it does not mean they need so illiterate or unskilled laborers like the Middle East is obelized to do to recruiting moment. Is this not a better option to have these so-called graduates from Bangladesh? Yes, it is.
Many European countries give opportunities like free tuition fees or a great portion fee waiver, the majority of graduates have been enjoying these opportunities spontaneously. This way, I wonder how they ( graduates) will make better policies for Bangladesh or will stand for in an emergency period except for little money as they are not capable of raising their positive vocals in the USA, Canada, UK, etc English empires in time as indirectly or directly these mentioned countries have been controlling world politics, economy, finance, international market, education and culture all the ways!
The upshot is obvious to our poor level of indigenous politics, finance, education, and culture. We cannot negotiate with the US congressmen spontaneously and dignified way like China and India often do. Who is liable? I do not blame at anybody even our majority guile politicians but our graduates are liable not to realize at once. Economics is cruel like people get one kilo of meat from a butcher not by sympathy, but money, said to Alfred Marshal many years ago. Politics are more savage than economics, true.
Of course, educated family members like 50-100 years in Bangladesh, sorry, they don't feel much woe as they can negotiate easily in the international arena. Is this not my ethical and religious stand for to disclose to you why you Bangali graduates are so lagging behind for ages?
Despite knowing, Emotional intelligence prevails over IQ, I sacrifice this article to numerous folly graduates who cannot take political risks or be involved in corruption by ethics or religious views, whatever you say, to be wealthy in Bangladesh but they can be great through English language quality to be wealthy, veracity. Politicians will not disclose all that I do as a teacher.
Feel free, I expect your valuable views like a peer review.

2 年Excellence in communication skills in English and other language of international communication, French, Spanish, Russian, Mandarin, Persian, Malay-Indonesian can not be stressed enough. While B2 communication is reasonably good for general international communication, negotiating, publicity, diplomacy, medicine and many other fields need a virtually "native-speaker" understanding for fully effective communication. This means a deep, earth-shaking reforming of language education policies and methodologies. Those countries noted for strong communication abilities - in any foreign language - have these because their education systems pay strong attention to the processes . That is to say, they are not exam-focused, they are communication focused. Such countries are Finland, Poland, Holland, Switzerland, Greece - and many others. They also expect teacher excellence in language teaching and development. This excellence normally extends to other fields as well, sciences, arts, mathematics, political and social studies, and so on.
