What do preventing another Grenfell Tower disaster, creating a vaccine for COVID and decarbonising the UK energy demand all have in common?
They all depend on engineers. Today is This is Engineering Day, an incredible programme developed by the Royal Academy of Engineering to showcase the best in UK engineering and show the wide variety of roles.
The UK is facing a critical shortage of engineering talent, from early stage apprentices through to graduates and seasoned, professional engineers.
Engineers make a difference to people's lives every day. The world we live in - especially at this time of global pandemic - simply could not work without engineers. Do you - or someone you know - want to make a difference? - visit https://tinyurl.com/yyk7vmcb
