Report Line: Senior Engineer
Direct Reporting Staff: None
Start Date: 9th March 2022
- Be responsible for the test and repair to board level of several product types
- Be capable of working to local work instructions
- Update the SMS repair tracking system and manufacturer sites with information on repairs as required
- Be responsible for farming parts, and assessing: white forms, jobbers and BERs
- Provide feedback to management team with any stock issues that need to be adjusted or reviewed
- Able to meet current Key Performance Indicators and to produce quality results within agreed time scales
- An understanding of the importance of data protection and data cleaning procedures
- Ensure a safe environment and operate safe working practices at all times and conform to all Health & Safety procedures
- Be aware of customer’s perception of quality within Servicecare
- Ensure that the housekeeping within your section is always to a highest standard
Skills/attributes required for the role:
- Desirable relevant qualifications/experience/ interest or hobby relating to the role (taking apart and putting together electronic items or devises)
- Have a responsible attitude towards the quality of their work
- To be able to work without constant supervision
- Self-drive and a desire to bring tasks to completion
- Good people and communication skills/team player
- Computer literate with broad knowledge of MS Office and be able to provide feedback/reports both electronically and by paper
- Related experience or any equivalent combination of experience/education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved
- Flexible and willingness to undertake different tasks
- Good time keeping and attendance.
