The Engine Room: Introducing Rabia Stanley

The Engine Room: Introducing Rabia Stanley

From the busy corridors of Allied Credit’s HQ today we introduce our Marketing and Communications Specialist, Rabia Stanley, through The Engine Room series.

Rabia has gained a good perspective of the business through a variety of roles she’s held since joining the Allied team in 2016. Initially starting in Sales as a Loan Application Service Officer, Rabia then moved into risk and compliance before discovering her passion for marketing.

As Allied’s Marketing and Communication Specialist, Rabia has responsibility for many of the branding components within the business while protecting the integrity of our partners' brands. She also has the responsibility of collating and communicating important information out to the dealer networks.

Asked to share a memorable experience and personal accomplishment while at Allied, Rabia said she always enjoys her engagement with Allied’s partners. This has involved implementing brand changes for long-standing partner, Kawasaki Australia, and building her understanding of partners’ businesses by visiting their workshops and exploring a range of bikes and cars.

Beyond the office, Rabia has a passion for music, playing the violin and piano, and dancing, which helps her relax, express her creativity, and let loose. She also spent many years being a dance teacher, working with kids from ages 3yrs – 10yrs old. “Growing up in a musical family, it’s something that has played a massive role in my life. My favourite piece is One Mans Dream by Yanni”.

Work and personal life often intersect. Allied Credit recognises this and offers a range of benefits all employees can access, including hybrid working arrangements, a wellbeing program and an employee assistance program. When a few unfortunate incidents happened in Rabia’s personal life, in her view, the business went above and beyond to be her support network. It made her realise that the relationships she had built with people in the business went way beyond the office.

Allied Credit has grown significantly over the past 6 years. With this growth, our team has expanded ensuring the service excellence we are known for, continues. Rabia’s advice for new employees is simple: “Be yourself. Don’t be afraid to ask questions. Everyone within in the business is here to help and support you in your career at Allied.”
