“In today's ever-changing and fast paced culture the most powerful brands are built from the heart and allow audiences to live through them.” - Jonathan Tjoa Algreen
There is no such thing as having too much knowledge or limit on how much information we should know, my two biggest inspirations that help me to stay motivated are people and learning. This is exactly why I use my businesses and personal social channels to learn and share best practices to empower our future to become not only entrepreneurial but socially responsible.
I aim to continue building a safe place where people are encouraged to be curious and test their ideas, ask questions and learn from their mistakes without judgement. I believe that all my business audience’s need nurturing from educators, entrepreneurs, community leaders and economic developers to some degree.
The more your audiences engage with your content, the more they will begin to know, like and trust you and your brand. The higher the level of communication and credibility you give to your consumers, the more likely they will become advocates for you. Sharing personal experiences or relaying recent events effectively grab the attention of your audiences deeply. I take pride in sharing my journey both the highs and the lows as I know it will resonate with someone. Being transparent is a very admirable trait in a world where businesses commonly only highlight quick success.
In regards to educating your audience, focus on providing valuable information to them that truly helps them understand what you offer, why they need you and what problem you are solving for them. Both myself and my businesses primarily aim to educate audiences identify how to shop and live sustainably alongside inspiring those who wish to start their own businesses to be more people and planet aligned. I hope for my commitment to transparency and conscious ethos leaves a great example of how prioritising fashion or business investments doesn’t have to come at the cost of the people or planet.
With both my employees and audiences, I educate and engage them first in owning their decision and then empower them to take action. It is this approach which I believe has resulted in me gaining the trust of those I engage with, which in turn has led to continuous success.
