Engagement 101: Engagement 2025

Engagement 101: Engagement 2025

2025 is here and we are leaving few engagement prospects in 2024. It has been 25 years since the dawn of the new millennium, and we need to have an engagement that is beyond one shabby gift over the New Year’s/ Diwali/Founding Day of the Company.

Engagement is year-round and it is always embedded in every part of the employee lifecycle.

?

1.??????? Great Candidate Experience

Give your candidates ample information, and let them know if silence is feedback too. Clear communication during the hiring process.

Recruiters, you are no longer a bridge but a coach of your candidate, get them to the finish line. Passive hiring might be what we leave in 2024.?

2.??????? Great Onboarding

Give your people the tools to excel and perform. Don’t let the first 90 days go by in understanding where the coffee machine is or how the Xerox machine works. Let the admin work get sorted in the first week, so a new employee has the arsenal to tackle what they are meant to. Not look for the canteen and figure out the attendance system.

?

3.??????? Great Employee Experience

EX is the new thing, but are we sure it is another buzzword to make employees think they are in the majority while arbitrary decision-making continues. A great employee experience is about consistency, ease of use, and communication. Over-communication is in, tell them what’s happening and what will happen, and let them not fear the unknown.

?

4.??????? Great Offboarding

Whether the notice period is 1 day, 1 month, or a year, make the process of leaving the organization easy. If coming in the organization is streamlined, the other way around should be too. Let your people know this is a see you again, rather than a battle they must win.

We are making a conscious effort to make our system, processes, and practices employee-friendly, don’t let the new delivery app be for your consumer, your human base starts with your employees. Treat your internal customers the same as your external ones.
