A Juice Product Broke One of God’s Commandments!

Yes, you read that right.

Welcome to this week’s sizzling warm-up newsletter, where we embark on an exclusive, one-time-only journey through the world of product reviews—specifically, exploring how design impacts your ENERGY and SLEEP.

Let me paint a picture: I’m holding a bottle of “juice” in my mother’s South Boston kitchen, fidgeting it in my hands in a tapping rhythm.? I am trying to find the perfect word to describe this, and it seems to be coming like a relic from my childhood. My initial instinct? It’s “unholy.” After a brief mental scramble, I settled on “dishonesty.” At 75, my mother nodded in agreement.

This juice wasn’t just misleading—it was outright set up as a “lie.” This was lying.

But why was this bottle so infuriating?

Allow me to unravel the mystery:

The Label:

- Top Center: “Juicy Juice”

- Underneath: “100% Juice”

- Below That: An image of a mango.

- Near the Bottom: “MANGO” in large white lettering.

- ?Top Right: ?A green ribbon proclaiming: “NO Sugar Added/No Artificial Sweeteners.”

Sounds convincing, right?


That's the one!

But after a few days of drinking it, my brain kept whispering, “Are you sure this is mango juice?” A quick check of the ingredient list revealed a bitter truth: apple concentrate was the star player, with mango nowhere in sight other than a low amount of mango “concentrate,” which IS NOT 100% JUICE!!!


Here’s where it gets interesting:

This isn’t just about a rogue juice company. It’s a microcosm of a more significant issue—a broken promise of “honesty” that transcends product labels and seeps into broader societal norms. The juice label was playing by the rules but betraying its consumers—a lesson in how regulatory loopholes can mask dishonesty.

Yes, yes, don’t get so impatient. Here is the connection between Energy and Sleep:

I dug deeper into this notion of dishonesty and found a troubling parallel in the sleep industry. A recent study, touted as groundbreaking for its vigorous standards and focus on a type of magnesium to improve sleep health, showed that around 90% of sleep and energy metrics revealed either negative results or no change. The study was rigorous, yet it skirted the essence of truth much like the juice label did.

Here’s the twist: My personal- multi-year ride on credit cards to fund my investigation revealed that about 90% of sleep products are akin to that deceptive juice bottle—promising one thing while delivering another. I discovered a staggering failure rate through various supplements, creams, devices, and more.


All my reviews were piling up like a waste of my time doing data entry on them!

The good news?

I’ve identified a gem within this murky landscape.
