Energy Management for Compressed Air Utilities

The customised controller has ability to continuously measure Peak consumption, Off-Peak consumption, Base consumption and Leakages through the incorporated flow-meters. Theses measurements enable it to pre-estimate the future consumption of compressed air on basis of historical consumption patterns that are interpreted through artificial intelligent software. The quality parameters (moisture , temperature) of compressed air are also computed as an add-on feature to serve customer needs. The other features of the controller are as follows.

  • Energy Management
  • Maintaining the Header Pressure automatically by selecting optimum compressors combination.
  • Display and Logging of actual plant consumption.
  • Provision for manual selection of compressors in case of maintenance breakdown.
  • Data-logging for all low & high level alerts
  • Remote access monitoring (Add-on)
  • Recording the specific energies of individual compressor. (Add-on)
  • Data-logging of Moisture and Temperature of compressed air. (Add-on)
  • Data-logging of flow on each process line or machine (Add-on)
  • Pressure and temperature drops across heat exchangers (Add-on)
  • Pumping control & humidity control for cooling tower (Add-on)
