As we look back on the last few weeks, we’re excited to celebrate the incredible achievements of Energy Innovation Capital’s portfolio companies.?

We held our Annual Meeting in Houston in October. We were joined by over 130 investors, partners, entrepreneurs and friends of Energy Innovation Capital to hear about portfolio innovations, participate in workshops, and discussions on EIC’s progress and future directions.?

Bob Ghafouri delivered a keynote on AI and its implications on the energy industry as we look ahead to innovation at the intersection of two global megatrends. And we enjoyed the opportunity to help add to our entrepreneurs’ strategies and practical toolkits for success; with special thanks to Sunny Trinh, Todd Auwarter, and Paul Hunter for leading the workshops.?

Infinitum: Major Industry Recognition and DOE Award

• R&D 100 Award: Infinitum’s Aircore EC Motor for Data Centers won the prestigious 2024 R&D 100 Award in the IT/Electrical category for its capacity to reduce emissions by 20%, addressing sustainability in data center operations.
• Additional Industry Awards: The Aircore EC Motor also earned the 2024 Excellence in Product Engineering Award from Engineered Systems Magazine and was named Silver Product of the Year by Consulting-Specifying Engineer.
• DOE Grant for Clean Manufacturing: Infinitum was selected by the U.S. Department of Energy to receive funding for clean energy manufacturing initiatives. The award supports establishing a Texas-based facility to produce high-efficiency axial-flux motors, creating local jobs and bolstering the supply chain for critical energy tech.

Outsight: Recognized as a Leader in Digital Twin Technology by Gartner?

Outsight was recognized by Gartner? for its advancements in digital twin technology, demonstrating the impact of its Spatial AI platform on real-time spatial data management.

SafeAI secured a spot in BuiltWorlds' Robotics Top 50 list for the second year, recognized for its autonomous vehicle technology that is transforming heavy machinery in construction and mining.

• David Bercovich as CEO: Insight M announced David Bercovich as the new CEO, with Gregg Rotenberg stepping into the role of Executive Chairman. This shift aligns with the company's growth in methane emissions management solutions.
