Energy sector
A pivotal sector on which other sectors depend, including trade, industry, agriculture, water, transportation, and other military sectors
Wide applications that use energy require different forms of energy, which include:
There are many ways to generate energy through generator technology
There are also electrical transformers that control the amount of power from small, medium, and large
And kinetic energy converters via electric motor technology.
Through the energy efficiency Apprenticeship funded by the United States Agency USAID and implemented by Al-Hussein Technical University under the management and leadership of engineer Diana Shafiq Athamneh , who has partnerships with more than 190 industrial entities from the industrial sector and in cooperation with...
In the beginning, energy auditing, as a definition, is a study of the consumption of loads (electrical, thermal, and kinetic) for different forms of energy and the amount of conversion of the device or load for its intended application, including kinetic and thermal energy, specific gas pressure, and cooling, heating, and air-conditioning operations.
During the first two months, I was involved in theoretical and technical knowledge processes for the industrial sector. I learned with 14 male and female engineers from different academic backgrounds and working engineers about the following according to an organized program and agenda.
the of agenda :
And we honoured to knew and networking with guest speakers shared with us last achievements for every foundations
They gave a distinguished presentation about the achievements of the entities they represent in numbers, plans and partnerships with the energy efficiency program that they intend to implement.
We have been qualified to conduct energy audit studies and build energy management systems and provide sufficient basics for any industrial institution to pass the ISO 50001 system and obtain its requirements to obtain the certificate.
Therefore, it is necessary to study load consumption, their behaviour, and their efficiency, and build energy management systems, starting with the industrial sector, to develop and enhance it, as we witnessed during the silver jubilee of His Majesty King Abdullah II the expansion of the industrial sector and the rise in its contribution to national income from one billion Jordanian dinars to more than 7 billion Jordanian dinars.
On August 15, 2023, Minister of Energy Al-Kharabsheh said: The contribution of renewable energy to electricity generation is 29%.
The Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Dr. Saleh Al-Kharabsheh, said today, Monday, that the total installed capacity of projects to generate electrical energy from renewable energy sources reached about 2,526 megawatts by the end of last July, contributing 29% of the electrical energy generated since the beginning of 2022, compared to about 26% during the year 2021.
? He added in a press statement that the energy generated from the total installed capacity of renewable energy projects amounted to about 5.5 terawatt hours at the end of 2021. Thus, Jordan ranks first in the Arab world in the percentage of installed capacity of renewable energy sources without counting hydropower, and third after Egypt and Morocco in the amount of energy produced.
? Minister Kharabsheh explained that the capacity was distributed by 1,498 megawatts from commercial projects under power purchase agreements, representing 59% of the total installed capacity, and 1,027 megawatts from renewable energy system projects owned by subscribers to cover their consumptions using net metering and transit transportation meters, which represents about 41% of the total capacity. The vehicle.
? Regarding the number of installed systems according to the wheeling and net metering systems, it reached about 52 thousand systems.
For the Residential and public sector? , we will analyse the following based on previous data

Through period 2018 – 2021 the average of total generation of electricity at Jordan as equation below :
29% of generation electricity? depending on renewable energy source = 6130GWH
Public and residential buildings sector ?consumption ranging about 47% annually
And then we get =9936 GWH
Capacity of non renewable ?energy=9936-6130
???????????????????????????????????????????????????????? =3806 GWH
This huge number of projects on the Jordanian electrical network has led to the hesitation of the departments of electricity distribution companies in the three Jordanian regions to give official approvals to the wheeling system projects.
To generate electrical energy from solar energy due to many technical limitations and caveats regarding total reliance on solar energy and alternative panel technology.
Transformers in high- and medium-voltage distribution networks also have a certain
percentage of capacity to accommodate solar energy projects for engineering reasons
for example let ask ourselves an questionWhy do we use star connection on transmission and distribution on delta?
The star connection is mainly required for the Power Transmission Network
for longer distances, whereas in delta connection mainly in Distribution networks and is used for shorter distances.
For long-distance transmission and distribution, star connection is preferred because it requires little insulation and has a neutral that helps to balance the circuit.
Delta connections require more insulation and have issues with unbalanced currents, hence they are preferable for transmission and distribution over shorter distances.
Since the production lines have applications that use electric motors and are connected to the control panel for electrical energy, depending on the connections of the Star Delta electrical distribution grid, the electrical current values change and are affected.
Because it is an alternating current and the value fluctuates in the form of a sine wave, it indirectly affects the loads that are fed
As the efficiency of loads and the high conversion capacity between forms are important, energy management systems are essential
Which led to an increase in demand for energy and the need for greater regulation of it
One of the initiatives and solutions that I presented through my graduation project was entitled Green Crystalline Cells
which the Goals was
And sincerely
Manufacturing and developing solar cells that can control the quantities and flow of electrical current will lead to stability and the possibility of increasing dependence on solar energy in the future.
But what is most important today is to conduct an energy audit to ensure sound energy consumption behaviour
The development of knowledge and science led me to deepen and expand my vision through other renewable energy sources and to build, develop and invent systems and tools to monitor energy auditing and its behaviour in the academic and practical future.
And developing knowledge and sciences related to it
