Energy Crisis VS Energy Transition.
I often see discussions about whether the energy crisis can derail the green agenda in European countries. Will it delay or cancel the green transition process?
The answer is obvious.
The energy crisis will not be able to cancel the green agenda. On the contrary, it will multiply the energy transition. Previously, the state had to subsidize renewable energy projects, since the energy generated by solar, wind and other "green" stations was significantly more expensive than traditional energy. Therefore, investments in green projects were not very large.
Now, due to the huge rise in the price of fossil fuels, this gap in the cost of a kilowatt / hour has rapidly decreased, which means that alternative energy has a chance - energy from both sources costs the same, but green energy is protected from conflict risks, so investment in it will show growth ten times.
