Energy Billing Best Practice is a zero-cost management programme that could save you in the region of 10-15% saving on your Gas, Electricity and Water bills on a monthly basis.
Over the years we have proved this, and we have been engaged on many small businesses and large, to help them drive down their energy costs.
The below areas enable us to focus on billing and as ‘Energy is your third largest expense’ after buildings and people, these below 4 points enable organisations to take control of their energy costs:
a. Correct Contract
b. Ensure no estimation
c. Complete monthly meter reads
d. Sign off process
B2B Energy Ltd, have developed a strategy to deliver ‘BEST’ Practice to tackle the ever-increasing energy cost.
· Benchmark your usage and understand your bills
· Eliminate the issues that are wasting energy and money
· Save Money by switching tariffs and suppliers
· Track everything to ensure your usage reflects your need
The importance of making these savings enables you then to recycle profits into your more bugets to reduce your bills further with energy saving services and technologies.
Below are some examples we have found…
Example a.The following examples is where the client is no longer in contract and the supplier has in avertedly, put them on to ‘Deemed Rates’ or ‘Out of Contract Rates’ which are normally published on their websites or the back of the original invoices. Hence, the client will then possibly be paying double for their energy.
Example b.The following example is a client’s property where they had taken ownership of a new property. During the 3 years of owning this property they never knew where the meter was installed. We found the meter hidden away in their board room. After reviewing their meter and submitting an actual reading back we secured a £7,500 rebate. Estimated bills happen all the time with no access to the meters or meters being hard to find. Our advice to you is to take monthly readings and manage you meter assets.
