Reflexión de la semana.

Esta semana he visto una noticia según la cual China estaría a punto de obtener energía infinita a través de la fusión nuclear.

Según la noticia en 30 o 50 a?os si no tendría una cantidad de energía infinita.

Esto me ha hecho recapacitar acerca de qué significa realmente tener tanta energía.

Significa esto que la energía será gratuita o mucho más barata.

Posiblemente no llegue a ser gratuita, ya que alrededor de la energía existe una enorme industria que seguirá necesitando obtener beneficios, sin embargo es muy probable que si se reduzca el precio drásticamente.

Por otra parte significará esto que la energía estará disponible para todo el que lo necesite.

Posiblemente tampoco hay zonas del mundo a las que no llegará esta diferencia de energía.

Sin embargo lo que más me preocupa desde el punto de vista de un ingeniero es cómo afectara la eliminación de la limitación de la cantidad de energía consumir a los dise?os en el campo de la eficiencia energética.

Está claro que todo dispositivo que es una batería eléctrica necesitará ser eficiente para poder permanecer más tiempo en funcionamiento.

Por otra parte también sería posible general baterías que se carguen más rápido simplemente gastando mucha más energía en cargarlas.

Aunque a priori es una gran noticia tener el toda la energía que podamos necesitar es preocupante el efecto que podría tener un mal dise?o de los productos que aparezcan en la ecología del mundo.

Si ahora tenemos una crisis energética que nos obliga a optimizar el consumo al máximo y aún así disponemos de vuelos baratos que nos permiten movernos por todo el mundo, qué sucederá cuando no hata limitación de energía.

?Estaremos todo el tiempo en movimiento?

?El número de espaciamiento se disparará?

?O tendremos en nuestra casa cualquier servicio que deseemos desde cualquier lugar del mundo?

?Cómo afectará este cambio a nuestro futuro en este planeta?

Es posible que el impacto sea algo tan brutal como la invención de la máquina vapor.

La semana pasada os preguntaba por el tipo de conocimientos que soléis adquirir.

La mayoría indicó que todo tipo de conocimientos, seguidos por aquellos que prefieren adquirir conocimientos aplicables a su sector.

Es cierto que me gusta aprender de todo un poco, pero a los que sóis como yo, os dejo un consejo:

?Nunca perdáis el foco!.

Está muy bien tener un conocimiento generalista, pero aún mejor, es que tenga cierta coherencia.

Pensad a donde queréis llegar y luego priorizad esa ruta de conocimientos.

Reflection of the week.

This week I have seen a news according to which China would be about to obtain infinite energy through nuclear fusion.

This has made me think about what it really means to have so much energy.

This means that energy will be free or much cheaper.

Possibly there are also no areas of the world that this difference in energy will not reach.

However, what worries me most from the point of view of an engineer is how the elimination of the limitation of the amount of energy consumed will affect the designs in the field of energy efficiency.

It is clear that any device that is an electric battery will need to be efficient in order to stay in operation longer.

On the other hand, it would also be possible to generate batteries that charge faster simply by spending much more energy on charging them.

Although a priori it is great news to have all the energy we may need, the effect that a bad design of the products that appear on the world's ecology could have is worrying.

If now we have an energy crisis that forces us to optimize consumption to the maximum and even so we have cheap flights that allow us to move around the world, what will happen when there is no energy limitation?

Will we be on the move all the time?

Will the spacing number skyrocket?

Or will we have in our house any service that we want from anywhere in the world?

How will this change affect our future on this planet?

The impact may be as brutal as the invention of the steam engine.
