Enemalta and Animal Welfare Join Servizz.gov Freephone 153

New Extension Numbers Published for Malta’s Most Popular Freephone Service

The Servizz.gov Freephone 153 has increased its array of services with the addition of Enemalta and the Department of Animal Welfare, following the formalisation of an agreement that allows Servizz.gov representatives to handle customer care calls for both entities. This development comes after several months of a successful pilot project. These services now join the many other government services managed by Servizz.gov via the same freephone, including social and educational services, tax-related queries, and Active Aging, among others.

Operated by Servizz.gov, Freephone 153 has become Malta’s largest helpline. In 2023 alone, it handled 863,126 calls and is currently averaging approximately 3,000 calls per day.

As the range of services offered continues to grow, Servizz.gov is introducing a list of extension numbers, allowing citizens to connect directly to the required service.

Customers can now call the Servizz.gov Freephone 153, enter the relevant extension number when requested, and be connected directly to the representative for the requested service. If the caller does not know the extension, they will be guided through the available options, ensuring a seamless connection and faster service, ultimately enhancing the overall customer experience.

During the agreement signing with Enemalta and the Department of Animal Welfare, Servizz.gov CEO Massimo Vella stated that the Agency has significantly expanded its service portfolio in recent months. He also indicated that additional government entities will continue joining the platforms managed by Servizz.gov. Enemalta was represented by Executive Chairman Ryan Fava, while Permanent Secretary Sharlo Camilleri, signed on behalf of the Directorate for Animal Welfare.
