This Safer Internet Day on February 7, End Violence brought?the voices of children and their solutions for a safer internet to the forefront.?With a Twitter Takeover by Gitanjali Rao, Innovator, TIME Kid of the Year 2020 and UNICEF Youth Advocate, and interviews with children around the world, we are amplifying the calls to action by and for children to governments, the tech industry and other key stakeholders.?
Building on the International Day of Education in January, the Education?Cannot Wait High-Level Financing Conference being held?February 16-17 in Geneva provides another opportunity to make the case for safe, non-violent and inclusive schools with Safe to Learn hosting a side-event to accelerate commitments so that children in all contexts are ensured safe learning environments.?
And as we look ahead, take a few minutes to read this?think piece?by Dr. Howard Taylor, Executive Director of the End Violence Partnership as he reflects on hope, opportunity and urgency to address violence against children in 2023 and beyond –?in the context of ongoing transition to better support partners as an upstream network enabler and an investor in leading edge initiatives.
