Akamai Technologies Launches a Native Connector for its Tools
Akamai Technologies, a cloud company that aims to power and protect life online, has announced a native connector between Akamai API Security and Akamai Connected Cloud tools. The integration will simplify and accelerate the discovery and protection of APIs by allowing users to send a copy of their Akamai Connected Cloud traffic data directly to its API Security tool. This will help teams analyze that traffic data and use it to block attacks faster. The new connector is available now to Akamai customers.
Cloudflare Mitigates Largest Ever Reported Hyper-Volumetric DDoS Attack
Cloudflare, a connectivity cloud solution provider, has announced that it has automatically mitigated the largest ever reported hyper-volumetric DDoS attack. According to Cloudflare, the scale of the attack peaked at 3.8 terabits per second (Tbps) and lasted about 65 seconds. This attack was one of the over one hundred hyper-volumetric L3/4 DDoS attacks that Cloudflare's defenses mitigated throughout the last month.
Darktrace Expands its Darktrace / CLOUD Offering
Darktrace, a global provider of AI tools for cybersecurity, has announced expanded functionalities for Darktrace / CLOUD, an AI-driven Cloud Detection and Response (CDR) system. This expansion includes support for Microsoft Azure environments, allowing companies to leverage Microsoft's virtual network flow logs for agentless deployments. Additionally, Darktrace's Self-Learning AI technology enables the Darktrace / CLOUD offering to deliver automated Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) capabilities to security teams.

The Halcyon Linux platform also runs with minimal resource impact to ensure critical environments maintain consistent performance.
Palo Alto Networks and Deloitte Expand Their Strategic Alliance
Palo Alto Networks, a global cybersecurity provider, has expanded its strategic alliance with Deloitte. The expansion will help Palo Alto Networks make its AI-powered cybersecurity solutions and joint offerings available to Deloitte clients in the EMEA and JAPAC regions.
