While traditional nasal masks can be traumatic for low-weight premature infants, 3D prototypes designed by students at Western University can perfectly fit the baby's nose.

Once again, 3D printing proves to be useful and can represent a breakthrough for healthcare. 3D printing technology for medical care is still a work in progress, but in the future it may provide more and more benefits in terms of performance and timing.
