A MEAL WITH A PLAN...LAUNCHING OUR BREAKFAST MEET-UPS!

Striving for equity of women at the workplace is a long-term effort that requires the collaboration of many groups of people. While we've started our involvement through mentoring, we need to go deeper and help impact the problems at source. ‘Breakfast with vLookUp’ will be a monthly gathering of a group of HR, D&I and Talent Management leaders. We'll talk about issues and possible solutions surrounding diversity, while seeing how to better support women at work.?

VLOOKUP AT THE LAUNCH OF THE EXCITING 'MENTORING SG' MOVEMENT

Singapore's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Mr. Lawrence Wong recently announced the launch of the new 'Mentoring SG' movement at the National Mentoring Summit 2022.?This initiative will enable our youth to realize their fullest potential through access to guidance, opportunities and network on their journey of self discovery. The most exciting part for us was when he cited the example of Dell Technologies' Mentor Connect 2.0, which is powered and enabled by vLookUp! It was inspiring to hear about the vision and mission of ‘Mentoring SG’ from Minister of State, Mr. Alvin Tan, who is spearheading this great initiative. In his address, he spoke about joining forces to open more doors to the younger generation. vLookUp is excited to be a part of the Singapore mentoring eco-system and we look forward to playing our part in this great effort.?

DELL & NANYANG POLYTECHNIC MENTORING COFFEE MEET

The Dell Technologies and Nanyang Polytechnic Mentoring programme is in its second month and we celebrated the milestone with a few mentors and mentees in Dell’s office, along with coffee and heavenly bakes! The Dell mentors have been very generous with their time and effort to help navigate these aspiring women professionals through an important phase as they enter the workforce and / or higher education. We're glad our platform is part of this important programme and look forward to seeing how this shapes up further!
