On Ending My Last Chapter With ReviewPro
In January 2017, my last chapter at ReviewPro started when we sold the majority of the company. I agreed to stay-on as CEO for three years to lead the company. It’s hard to believe how fast time has flown by and I am very proud of the results our team has achieved in the 10 years since we started the company:
- 60,000 hotel clients
- More than doubled revenue in the last 3 years
- Significant EBITDA margins
- Consolidated position as global leader in hotel Guest Experience Improvement
I would like to thank the entire team at ReviewPro for helping to build one of the most respected and best known brands in hotel tech and doubling the equity value of the company in 3 short years. A special shout-out to my co-founders Tim Towle, Dimitry Lvovsky and the rest of the executive team (Michael Kessler, Neil James, Rafael Patino, Aleksei Udachny, Joan Ortu?o and Elena Jiménez) for the important role each of you and your respective teams played in our success.
It has been a privilege to lead this great company since day one. Nevertheless, the time has come for me to pass the “baton” to Michael Kessler, who after 7 years building our global sales team, has taken over as CEO. I wish Michael and the entire team all the best in taking ReviewPro to the next level.
So what’s next? I am grateful to have the financial freedom to take an extended break from work for the first time since I got a job as a paperboy, for the Daily Breeze, when I was 12 years old. I will take 2020 off to spend time with loved ones, travel, do volunteer work, get back into surfing, as well participate in several boards.
A heartfelt thank you to all of you that helped make this dream come true: my work colleagues both present and past, our amazing clients, industry friends/partners and most importantly my close friends/family that gave me encouragement and support over the last 10 years.
I look forward to the adventures and opportunities that await me on this exciting new chapter of my life.
